The
newest, brightest, most forward thinking brake control available
for trailer towing just became better. Whenever tow vehicle brakes are
applied, the Odyssey II senses the vehicle's rate of deceleration
and applies the appropriate amount of brake power for a smooth
seamless stop. The Odyssey II's four load level settings make
it easy to adjust for a wide range of trailer weight and axle
configurations. The Odyssey II's easy-to-read digital display
communicates the power being sent to the trailer brakes, as well
as a full range of diagnostic functions.
At the
heart of the Odyssey II is the patented dual axis
accelerometer. During a braking event, the Odyssey II senses
the vehicle's rate of deceleration and applies a uniform amount
of brake force as quickly as needed for a smooth seamless
stop. Unlike older accelerometer-based controllers with
"automatic calibration", the Odyssey II now avoids
miscalibration during engine braking. With the push of a
button the Odyssey adjust to its mounting position.
 The
Odyssey II Brake Control can be
mounted in any position, making it easily and comfortably access able
from the driver's position of most any tow vehicle. The
unit is designed to be mounted in a variety of positions, at any
angle above or below the dash.

Pressure
Sensitive Manual Trailer Brake Activation
Replacing
the mechanical lever found on other brake controllers,
Odyssey II sports an exclusive pressure sensitive switch to
deliver finite control from your fingertips to the trailer
brakes. The harder you press, the more the trailer brakes
are applied.

Memory Preset Locations
Like
the settings on a car stereo, Odyssey II offers four assignable
memory presets capable of retaining the preferred Output Gain
and Load Level setting combinations for specific trailer, load
or driver requirements.

Touch Gain Control
No more
thumbwheel. Odyssey II's Soft-Touch Pressure Switches
allow fine single decimal adjustment to the output gain setting.

Enhanced
Display Graphics
Classic
display graphics provide Output Gain, Connectivity, Load Level
and Diagnostic information, while an additional LED segmented
bar provides pressure feedback for manual braking
activity. Additional LED's indicate User Preset Selection.
